Jet Vacuum Systems Pvt. Ltd. – Multi Effect Evaporators, Steam Ejector System & Water Jet Ejector Manufacturer

Pan Type Evaporator

Pan Type Evaporator 3D

Pan Type Evaporator is an indigenous development of Jet Vacuum Systems Pvt. Ltd. It is usually recommended where the effluent load is less than 2 kilo liters/day. Just of the name suggests, it consists of a Pan in which the effluent is fed continuously and it gets evaporated on a continuous basis. The heating media of a Pan Type Evaporator can be: Electricity, Thermic Fluid, LPG, CNG, Steam. Water thus evaporated is condensed in a Surface Type Condenser and the entire system is maintained under vacuum by a Water Ring Vacuum Pump.

The advantages of Pan Type Evaporator are:

  1. Low capital cost
  2. Less footprint area requirement
  3. Flexibility of use of heating media
  4. Low headroom
  5. Easy operation

Types of Pan Type Evaporator

Electrical based

As the name suggests, the heating media used is electricity. Electrical based coils are used for heating the feed water. Since the cost of electricity is high, the water evaporation cost in-turn, becomes very high. But the biggest advantage of this system is the exclusion of other heating sources like boiler, thermic fluid etc.

Steam based

The source of heating media here is Steam. Out of every option, the cost of water evaporation in this type is the lowest and is therefore very economical. A small capacity boiler is installed for steam generation

LPG/CNG based

The heating source here is Liquified Petroleum Gas and/or Compressed Natural Gas. A direct fired burner is used as a source of heating media. The biggest advantage is this type of evaporator is the elimination of various components such as jacket, piping, valves, etc which are mandatory in other types.

LPG-CNG based PAN Type Evaporator

Thermic Fluid based

The source of heating media here is Thermic Fluid. This type of evaporator is used when thermic fluid is already being used in the plant. It can hence be used as heating media. This type can also be categorized as a low operating cost option.
